Free 14-Hour Real Estate CE for Osprey, FL Agents
Osprey sits on the Gulf side of Sarasota County between Sarasota and Venice, and agents here sell everything from bayfront homes on Little Sarasota Bay to newer communities east of US-41. Whatever you sell, your Florida license renewal works the same way: after your first renewal, you need 14 hours of continuing education every renewal cycle. This course lets Osprey agents complete all 14 hours online and free, sponsored by DCA Florida Homes and provided by Sunstate Real Estate School.
What the 14 hours cover
Florida's 14-hour CE is 3 hours of Core Law, 3 hours of Ethics & Business Practices and 8 hours of specialty education. This course covers all 14 hours in one place, so you do not have to piece it together.
- 3 hours of Core Law
- 3 hours of Ethics and Business Practices
- 8 hours of specialty education
When Osprey agents need to renew
Florida real estate licenses renew every two years, and the CE must be completed before your license expiration date. Check your own expiration date and reported hours on MyFloridaLicense.com before you renew.
First renewal? Post-licensing comes first
If you have not renewed your license yet, your first renewal requires post-licensing education (45 hours for sales associates, 60 hours for brokers) instead of the 14-hour CE. This free course is for renewals after that. See our post-licensing vs. continuing education guide to confirm which requirement applies to you.
